About

I am Amy, and Occupation: Mommy is where I work out my thoughts about being the best mom I can to my kids. I have a tendency to be on auto-pilot through my days…dressing, feeding, cleaning, wiping, soothing, feeding again…and my blog is a way that I can remind myself to be mindful of these fleeting moments.

I sometimes post sponsored posts, reviews, or advertisements. All such content will be clearly identified as such. All opinions are my own, and are not swayed by anyone except the four little people in my household. Affiliate links are sometimes used in posts. I am open to hearing any PR pitches, and will consider opportunities that I feel fit my blog, my lifestyle, and my family situation.

I am a stay-at-home mommy to my four children. I use pseudonyms for my kids on my blog so that someday when they are grown up they might still have a chance to make their own online identity.

Audrey is my 9-year-old fifth grader. She loves to read and play dolls with her sisters and her friends. She is becoming a young lady and amazes me every day with her sense of humor and her growing feeling of maturity.

Georgia is 7 and is in second grade. She is a fun-loving girl who loves to play outside and is always up for a laugh. She is thoughtful and sweet, and loves to be silly.

Sydney, 4, is in PreK this year. You never know what might come out of this girl’s mouth! It could be anything from shockingly profound theology, to utter silliness. Sydney keeps us on our toes!

Joel is our baby boy. He is one year old, and a joy to our family. He loves cars, balls, playing outside, and anything that makes a lot of noise (“Boom!”).

And, last but certainly not least, is my fantastic husband, Rich. He is fun but wise, and extremely even-tempered which works to balance out my sometimes wildly fluctuating moods!

    Hi,

This is Ricky Diaz from SocialSpark.com. An intern brought your site to my attention.

We’re interested in a possible partnership with your site. We’re always looking for high quality blog sites like yours to include in our list of publishers.

Please let me know if you’re interested in giving it a shot.

HOW DOES IT WORK? & HOW MUCH WILL YOU BE PAID?

The brands we work with share their products/services with premium bloggers and writers on sites like yours. If you decide to write/blog about their product/service, they pay you for it. It’s kind of a win-win situation.

One of the cool things about SocialSpark, you determine your own payout. You choose how much you want to be paid. The advertisers will check out your site and we will send you their campaigns…Then it’s up to you to either do a post, reject it or request more money. But at the end of it all, you set the price and decide if you want to post or not. Once in our system we qualify your site and pay you what you’re worth.

Furthermore, we’re non exclusive, there is no commitments, you can stop at anytime and you’re never required to post anything you don’t want to. Theres no risk involved.

Another cool factor is that you have 100% creative freedom. You decide which campaigns to write about, and exactly how to write about them. Some of the biggest bloggers and professional sites work with us because of our flexibility in these sensitive areas.

Looking forward to hearing from you. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.

    Thanks,
