Fall fun: Penn State game

This weekend, we went back to our beloved alma mater to see a football game. We hadn’t been to a game for three years, so we were due to be back at Old State.

My dad had acquired two tickets to watch the game from a luxury box and invited me to go with him. So we left Sydney with my mom, Rich bought three nosebleed seats for him and the girls, and we had a great football day.

The box was niiiiiiice. It was a beautiful, sunny day in Happy Valley and we all had a great time! We are! Penn State!

Here are the girls with a statue of our legendary football coach, Joe Paterno.

After the game, the girls enjoyed some famous Creamery ice cream and we walked around campus to see the familiar sights. I can’t believe that it has been 9 years since we were in college. Fond, fond memories.

Where did you go to school? Do you go back to visit sometimes?

FUN!! I didn't realize you were a PSU alum!! Just two weeks ago, some college pals and I headed over to UD for lunch and an afternoon around campus. Talk about memory rush!!
It was a blast, and we agreed that we need to do it more often–even with the kiddos.
